VIETNAM is hoping for this year’s race in November

The race organizers for the Vietnam Grand Prix are still hoping to be able to agree with the Formula 1 management on a new date for their premier race.

Premier race for GP Vietnam in the capital Hanoi, was supposed to take place in April, but was postponed due to a coronavirus pandemic. Organizers they said back in March that they hoped to be able to confirm a new race date in a month or two. That deadline has now passed.

Zandvoort, another new organizer on this year 's race calendar Formula 1, has recently officially confirmed that they are postponing their return to the royal class of motorsport to next year. But v Vietnam are race organizers to colleagues from RaceFans told that in conversation with Formula 1 for a new term. If we could save at least one of our two new venues, that would be for Formula 1 very attractive. The goal is to make an appointment in November.

Given the fact that temporary tracks or street races pose major logistical problems, as is the case at permanent racetracks, it is unlikely that Vietnam will celebrate its premiere this season.

All re-planning the race on a temporary street track in the city presents major logistical problems and complications like visiting a permanent racetrack where access is easier to control. Races on temporary tracks in Melbourne in Monaco they have already been canceled. Singapore, another street race, however, wants to run its event only in original term, which is September 20 and with spectators in the stands.

Leadership Formula 1 is expected to publish a revised calendar of European races from July to early September, and the latest draft has already circled the globe.
