BOTTAS'S "deja vu" in SILVERSTON

Valtteri Bottas suffered a front left tire injury three laps before the end of the UK Grand Prix race and was left without points as a result.

This was not his first such case in his career Formula 1 and many hope that this pitch will not be possible to remind him of on Sunday, for example, from two years ago in the race for Grand Prix of Azerbaijan 2018 v Baku.

That's when he was tire damage, otherwise rear right, cost victories. The Finn did not recover from this pitch and had his own this year the worst season pri Mercedes. He also stayed on Sunday as said empty hands. Now for a teammate Lewis Hamilton is already behind 30 points. "If all goes well, we'll have maybe more than ten races,”Upa Bottas. "However, we do not know this. Because of this, you want to score as many points as possible. Losing so many points you can’t actually afford."

In 2018, Bottas lost the race in Baku due to a damaged tire. He then didn’t recover and it was his worst season at Mercedes. Did he experience deja vu on Sunday?

"Lewis had a good race and also finished happily despite a tire injury,”He continues Bottas. "What am I supposed to do? What can you say about that? There is nothing you can do here. I have to stay positive. For if I think, ‘OK, that was it.’, Then so be it. But I won’t do that anyway. I will continue to do my best and believe in it."

All Bottas will have another year of opportunity to realize withyour dreams, as he signed yesterday contract extension with the team Mercedes for next season and with the option to continue participating in the year 2022.
