WOLFF is expected to stay with MERCEDES, but his role is not clear

Toto Wolff, the head of the Mercedes team, said that he would stay in the Formula 1 team, but he did not know what role he would play in that.

Toto wolff is at the head of the team Mercedes from year 2013, and in the same year Lewis Hamilton decided to join the silver arrows. And it has been ever since Mercedes postal most dominant team in history Formula 1, which won in a row six racing and design titles, five of the racing he got Lewis Hamilton. This year, all indications are that the team and the Briton will sovereignly repeat this exercise.

And this superiority does not show no signsto be able to end, in fact Mercedes just strengthens. But the future Wolff, whose contract expires at the end of the year, has not yet been clarified. Austrian however, he has now revealed that he will stay, which is certainly a relief for Mercedes, but has not yet decided what role will play in the future. “I love this team and I think this is my place," so Wolff za with the BBC. "But eight years of leading the team takes its toll and I’m thinking about that now. It’s important that I make the right decision, both for myself and my family, but you can be sure that I will be involved in this team in some way."

Toto Wolff admits that he enjoys the role of head of the Mercedes team, but regarding his future, he puts many factors into the game that could influence his decision.

Wolff owns 30 percent of Mercedes' Formula 1 team, and at the same time is responsible for Mercedes motorsport program. And the Austrian has already talked about the role he has his family in the decision. His wife Susie wolff leads the team Ventures in Formula E, therefore acknowledges that this affects family time. Toto and Susie they have a young son. He also talked about not wanting to go beyond welcoming in Mercedesu. "These are ongoing discussions, they are positive and I do not want to give the impression that I am leaving. Not so, I’m just in a moment of thinking about my role."

One of the factors that could foster his different role on the Mercedes team is certainly his family, as he and his wife Susie have a young son.

"It’s about thinking about where Formula 1 is going, what’s going on with the coronavirus, and here are some more personal reasons. Susie is in a good position to lead the Formula E team, which means that she is also absent a lot. I’ve been to god knows how many races and we’re thinking about that now. We are talking about this with Olo Källenius. We want to do our best for the team to keep progressing. I really enjoy the role, my plan is to continue, but I never want to be in a situation where you go from very good to good," Ends Wolff.
