Alex ALBON has fewer and fewer OPTIONS in F2021 for the 1 season

If he fails to keep his seat at Red Bullu, Tajec will probably have to leave the Formula 1 circus.

There are only three races left until the end of this season. After both championships have been decided, the focus is of course on 2021. Rules they will, so to speak, remain the same. However, many drivers will change teams and, as a result, there is still a lot of uncertainty about the occupancy of seats on some teams. For Alexander Albon moving to another racing class seems a more logical choice than continuing to F1.

British-Thai racer on the team Red Bull Racing is experiencing a dramatic season and apart from its only place on the podium in Mugello teammate Max Verstappen did not leave an overly good impression. The shortened 2020 season therefore seems to be the only full season for Albona at Red Bullu. If its possibilities in F1 are considerably reduced, the choice outside of it is quite varied. Let's look at a couple of examples.

Many are convinced that Albon would have long ago lost its seat at Red Bullu, if it were not for the influential Thai Yoovidhya family, which also has a stake in the company Red Bull GmbH.

It seems to be Alpha Tauri the most obvious choice for Albon, but many other racers are also vying for the chance to drive at 2021 Pierre Gasly. He is currently the hottest candidate for the post Japanese Yuki Tsunoda, which is being forced mainly by the supplier of Honda powertrains, so the question is what are the real chances for Albon to land in the team Franz Tost.

Another option for him is to agree to the role test ali backup driver, thus staying in touch with Formula 1, much like they have done in the past Daniil Kvyat in Esteban Ocon, who then managed to return. Red Bull in any case, he does not have an experienced reserve driver, as he had a place in Constantinople that is filled at Mercedes Stoffel vandoorne, at Racing Point Nico Hulkenberg, a member of his offspring and F2 competitor, Jurij Vips.

Formula E seemed a logical stepping stone to advancement in Albon’s career in the past, after winning third place in the 2018 Formula 2 season for Norris in Russell, but then (most likely because of his origins and probably pressure from above) landed at To Toro Rosso.

The fourth option for him is to go to the other side of the Atlantic, which is also seriously considered by both current ones racer of the team Haas, who will no longer be members of the U.S. F1 team next season. Fernando Alonso and others have already proven that a former Formula 1 driver can be very competitive in the IndyCar series, where there are currently quite a few available seats available.
