This year's season was for Ferrari worst after a long time as the team currently occupies sixth place, he is rarely a candidate for the podium, and we cannot talk about victories. In an interview with the Spanish newspaper AS, he is Sponge, which is for Ferrari raced since 2006 to 2013, said that in his time things have never been so bad and that makes him sad.

"It is a very difficult moment for Ferrari. It's sad to see them like this, with all the problems they have this year,”He says Brazilian. "Ferrari is a team that has to be competitive, but when it isn’t, it’s a very serious thing, not only for the fans, but also for the people who work on the team. I, too, had difficult years in which the car was not competitive, but not like it is this year. I hope that the situation in Ferrari will change soon, not now, but in the years to come. We need to be aware that this is a very serious problem,” he says Sponge.

Felipe Massa, who was once a member of Ferrari himself, said his former team had done the right thing by not extending his contract with Vettl, who, according to the Brazilian, was running out of time.

Above all Hag he had a bad year as he lags significantly behind his teammate Charles Leclerc. Matter Sponge he says Ferrari did the right thing by not renewing his contract and that they brought Carlos Sainz, which, according to the Brazilian, could put more pressure on Monaco. “A race car is the most important thing because if it’s not competitive, you can’t win and it’s not up to the racers. On the other hand, I think Sebastian’s time is over because he’s not doing the job expected of a four-time world champion, so I think the team did the right thing to make a change."

"Understandably, this is not the best moment for Sebastian, he himself believes that he is not being treated well, and it is not good for the team in this situation to have a racer who is not competitive. I think his departure was the best solution for both sides. I think Sainz will be competitive. He showed speed already when he debuted in Formula 1, and especially in recent years, when he achieved good results with McLarn and because of that I think the new Ferrari alliance can work well. Charles is in a great moment, of course it won't be easy for Sainz, but I believe he can do a great job and he can be strong with Ferrari," Ends Sponge.
