The organizers of the MONAC Grand Prix want to hold this year's RACE

This year, despite growing concerns about covid, the principality wants to carry out the race for the Formula 1 championship, as well as Formula E and Historic GP according to the original plan.

Automobile Club of Monaco responded to speculation of resignation Monaco Grand Prix, which is scheduled for May 23 this year, similar to the cancellation of races in Azerbaijan and Canada. Street racing, which take place in areas that are part of the public road network, are usually more questionable in case of unforeseen events, as the consent and permission of the authorities must be obtained months before the event, and the infrastructure must be prepared for the race itself (grandstands, paddock, logistics center,…)

There are all race promoters, of course fear of the scenario, which we experienced last year in Australia, when the event was canceled just before now, and customers had to be refunded the purchase price for tickets. This year 's race for Australian GP in Melbourne Albert Park instead of March, it will be on the agenda only in November.

Automobile Club of Monaco intends to carry out more this year in addition to the Formula 1 championship race Monaco EPrix in the Formula E electric single-seater series, and they have already booked an appointment for a traditional event Grand Prix Monaco Historical, where racers compete in racing cars from the history of Formula 1. The event is scheduled to take place in the penultimate week of April.
