With the words "To whom it may concern: F * ck you!“, You are Valtteri Bottas in Formula 1 created a trademark. Finn, which is always under fire from critics for having no chance to fight Lewis Hamilton at Mercedes, struck back again and mocked the so-called "couch commentators".

For colleagues from Motorsport-Total.com said: “They motivate me a lot. I’ve learned a lot about myself so things like that don’t touch me. I try to dismiss all this negativity."It simply came to our notice then. “No matter what you do, there will always be negativity, sometimes more, sometimes less. But it’s a motivation for me to show that these people are thinking wrong." Bottas must survive against Lewis Hamilton, which meanwhile breaks records as if on a conveyor belt. And that’s why it’s easy to get negative reviews. "As in any sport, there are couch commentators who, say, underestimate things. I think those who really understand the sport and perceive things from another’s point of view understand my position."

Criticism of Bottas ’account intensified after Sakhir’s GP race, when he was supervised at the race by rookie George Russell, who replaced Hamilton.

Racer Mercedesa continues: “I have said before that I do not understand why such criticisms exist. I don’t think there is any reason for that. However, I am not in their position and I do not know what is going on in their heads. I can say for myself that this is not an easy task. Lewis is the most successful racer in history and I have to compete against him and his high constant speed one weekend after another. This is not exactly easy."It simply came to our notice then great motivation. "This drives me and will make sure that I also drive myself forward, hopefully to the next level."

The Finn admits that it is not easy with Lewis in the same team, as he sometimes achieves things that he himself does not understand and wonders if this is even possible.

But Finn admits that Lewis sometimes able to achieve things he cannot explain to himself. “Sometimes I barely understood how that was possible. Be it one turn or a whole stint on a certain track with a certain mixture of tires. But there is always a reason and you have to delve into it. The worst thing is if you don’t understand something. I know the team has very smart engineers who can get to the bottom of every thing and explain to me how to equalize or even improve it."
