As we know, he has British with the team Mercedes only a one-year contract and for a reason. But judging by recent statements, seems to be currently planning to continue and put retirement in the background.

Hamilton could theoretically collapse this season all records. With his eighth championship title, he would become the most successful racer Formula 1 of all time. Perhaps many would think it would be ideal moment for retirement, but the Briton does not intend to do so. And he doesn’t just have to continue sports reasons. "I enjoy this fight, it's getting more and more exciting and demanding,”Is Hamilton told Dutch colleagues from Formula1.nl.

Lewis Hamilton wants to stay in Formula 1 also because of diversity and the Briton intends to join the boycott of social networks, where there is still too much online hatred and discrimination.

"I, too, still love working with the team and the steps Mercedes is taking to make us more and more diverse. As a sport, we still have a lot of work to do in this regard. When I’m here, I can also play a bigger role than if I were no longer in Formula 1,” he says Hamilton their reasons for pursuing a career.

Formula 1 will also join the boycott of social networks this weekend.

This weekend Hamilton is considering participating in boycott of social networks, introduced in the British sports world. They are doing this in protest against online hatred and discrimination that occurs on social media platforms. “It is clear to me that racism remains a problem and that social networking platforms need to do more. They are in a position to take steps to help build an anti-racist society,”He added Hamilton.
