Silvo Habat is one of those who dared and achieved much more than would actually be realistic in the given situation.


It has always been painter from Trzin interested in motorsport and realized his desire to compete in in the early 80s, and in his late 28s, he bought his first racing motorcycle. It was between 1984 and 1986 Habat won three Yugoslav champion titles in the 250 cc class and thus also the highest recognition Auto-Moto Association of Yugoslavia (AMZJ) in motorsport: Golden helmet.

He was always staring higher and higher, so he v in 1987 set for many an unattainable goal, to compete at the highest level of world motorcycling. In front of him on area of ​​the former Yugoslavia there was no one yet who dared to do so.
