Pri Williams do not believe that the altitude in the next two races in (mainly) Mexico in Brazili took care of major reliability issues Mercedes powertrains.

The manufacturer had the last problems with their engines and had to lease penalties in the last four races only with the factory team. Finally v Austin the new engines were received by their customers Aston Martin (Vettel) and Williams (Russell). The next two races will take place at altitudes 2.285 metrov (Mexico) and 800 metrov (Brazil). In thinner air, there are engine components such as turbocharger or unit MGU-H, much more burdened. But according to Dave Robson, an engineer at Williams for performance, this should not pose an additional problem. “No, that's not a concern right now. He believes that altitude will not pose a major reliability problem. Everything will be fine, no worries at the moment," so Robson.

Dave Robson, a Williams engineer, says the altitude in the next two races in Mexico and Brazil will not be a problem for Mercedes engines.

Five races before the end of the season Williams located at eighth place constructors' championship, they got the most points mainly in the races on Hungary in v Belgium, where they scored 20 of their 23 points. Ker Alfa Romeo, which is ninth behind them, lags behind 16 points, you could say Williams City is safe. Instead, they even look ahead, not in the championship, but in individual races. “On a good day, we can overtake the slower racers of AlpineF1 and Aston Martin,”He says Robson. "We can usually beat Tsunodo as well, but he drove very well in the last races, especially in the qualifiers. This made it a little harder. We are currently ninth, sometimes eighth and again very close to seventh. Sometimes we do a good job and leave behind more race cars than we actually should."
