For a French newspaper AutoHendo the former Renault team boss admitted to winning Max Verstappen experienced in the team’s garage Red Bull at the final venue in Abu Dhabi.

Abiteboul states that at Renault sometimes this very feature was missing. “When I see the strategic decisions made by Helmut Marko with Max, with Honda and with the team led by Christian Horner, I am glad that it paid off in the end."
Like all Formula 1 fans around the world, it is Abiteboul enjoyed last season. But in a strange way, since the Frenchman after fifteen seasons he did not experience this year as an active member.
