The team leader joined the team Mercedesa in 2013 and has enjoyed a very successful period since then. Mercedes under his leadership won a series of championship titles between 2014 and 2020, proving that he is able to dominate Formula 1 with a team from Germany, as he Lewis Hamilton won six titles and Nico Rosberg one.
Last season, however, it did Wolff had to face competition from the side Red Bull Racing in Max Verstappen. Mercedes failed to beat the Austrians, which forced them to give up the world title for the first time since 2013. Although they managed to win the construction championship, the team had a bitter aftertaste in December.
With the new regulations, everything is different in 2022. Mercedes has again the ability to create an advantage over Red Bullom and other competitors. However, this is definitely not a cat cough. He still has more than two months to prepare for the new season, but even before that he has to blow out 50 candles.
