Francis Bagnaia revealed that he was worried about before the Jerez race shoulder pain, which he injured in Portimao.
The Italian successfully stayed behind in Spain Fabio Quartararo and celebrated his first win of the year before the race he was worried because of the pain he felt on morning warm-ups. "I was worried about the race, because I drove without painkillers in the warm-ups and had a lot of problems," explained the Ducati racer.
“But they have something good at the racetrack clinic that helped me. The race only became difficult in the last laps, as I put the most strain on my right shoulder in all the brakes, except in the last corner. In the sixth corner, I had difficulty braking in time, as I felt pressure on my shoulder, which was very painful. ”
Bagnaia thinks it is after a difficult start season with this year's GP22 motorcycle, however, found a way to better shape. “I was more optimistic in the tests, but in the first race the feelings were different and we had more problems. Then we stopped adapting the motorcycle to my style, but despite the need for a different riding style, I can now go faster. But I also think that I am back in shape, just like last year, and I would like to continue like that, without losing points, ” he added.
