B-segment crossovers are currently one of the hottest segments of the car market in Europe, something Peugeot is particularly well aware of. That is why they are their trump card in this segment, model 2008 dedicated to the renovation, which will place the compact representative next to the larger model 508, which was presented at the beginning of this year.
Peugeot 2008 therefore, with the renovation, it got distinctive features triple daytime running lights, stored in a bulky bumper, and with the GT equipment, the crossover can also boast of LED lights at the front. At the rear, the renovation brings changed lights, and the rims, which range from 16 to 18 inches in diameter, are also new. There is also a new exterior color named Selenium Grey, and in any case, the exterior mirrors are wrapped in black.
It's inside Peugeot 2008 with the renovation, it basically got a 10-inch touch screen, with equipment Allure ali GT and the dashboard is also digital - with the latter also with a three-dimensional effect. More innovations are under the bonnet, where the model is E-2008 given more power and range, receiving the same treatment as the E-208 and E-308. This means a maximum power electric motor 115 kW (158 HP), which is 15 percent more than before the renovation, and the battery can handle it from now on 54 kWh (previously 50 kWh), which extended the range to 406 kilometers (previously 345 km).
At the beginning of next year, the motor range should get another new member, namely petrol unit with 100 kW (136 hp), which will be mated to a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and electric motor. According to Peugeot, it should save 15 percent of fuel compared to a conventional gasoline engine and allow at least half of city driving done with electricity.
Renovated Peugeot 2008 together with its electric twin E-2008, it is expected to enter showrooms this summer.
