GARMIN introduces Fenix 7 Pro and Epix Pro with innovative HEART RATE sensor and new FUNCTIONS

Attention Garmin device lovers, there are two of their brand new smartwatches ahead of you.

The latest products of this brand, Phoenix 7 Pro in Epix Pro, not only do they have some upgraded features over the previous models, but they also bring some new features (including climb and endurance ratings, but more on that later).

Garmin it was released last year Garmin Venus 2, Garmin Forerunner 955 in Garmin Forerunner 255 recorded an extremely impressive year of new product premieres, so we weren't sure if we'd have to wait longer for new releases this time around. And yet, the brand surprised us again, because they are hers new smart watches (unsurprisingly) look very impressive.

Just like its predecessor Garmin Epix (Gen 2) it's also a new watch Epix Pro a stylish (and expensive) Garmin watch. The watch is now available in three sizes, just like the watches Fenix, making it easier for people with smaller or larger wrists to find the best fit in the family Epix Pro for myself. There is also a lot available new functions, which are described in more detail below.

First, let's mention the built-in LED lamp, which was previously only available to users of Garmin devices Garmin Fenix 7X in Garmin Enduro 2. It has variable intensity and a strobe mode, so those who train in the dark will be more noticeable.

This is complemented by a new Red Shift Mode night mode, in which the watch changes the screen colors to red hues to better adapt to darker conditions and reduce disruptions to the sleep cycle. This is similar to night mode on the watch apple watch ultra and is a feature we think the Garmin community and new users will definitely welcome.

Probably the most interesting update is Elevate Gen 5 optical heart rate sensor. The new biological sensor is said to have improved signal quality due to a sophisticated optical arrangement that "combines several spatially diverse optical" sensor. In addition, the algorithm dedicated to individual sports has also been updated to ensure better evaluation.

Two new interesting software features that will appreciated by runners, are the climb rating and the endurance rating. The first one analyzes hill runs based on altitude and biometric data and ranks your climbing ability accordingly. The other is supposed to analyze many statistics and assurances to you endurance rating. Garmin says that although two runners may have the same VO2max, this does not mean that their endurance is at the same level; so this is where the endurance rating comes into play.

Function Up Ahead (inherited from Enduro 2) points out points of interest on the map, including aid stations, landmarks, etc. Of course, in typical Garmin fashion, the watch is equipped with a whole host of new features preloaded activities, which you can track, from racquet sports to horse riding (there are over 30 new sports modes available).

Phoenix 7 Pro is another one of Garmin's more prestigious watches that has similar additional functions as a watch Epix Pro, which further enhances its multisport functions. Like its new rival, it also has Phoenix 7 Pro built-in LED light, now available on all models Phoenix 7 Pro, not only at the maximum, the “Up Ahead” function, an optimized heart rate sensor and hill and endurance rating.

The most important information that we all want to know is, of course, the price. As already mentioned, both watches are quite expensive. Price per hour Epix Pro will start at 840 euros, while the clock Fenix Pro slightly cheaper, as it costs 750 euros. Both products can be purchased from Garmin's online store starting today.
