Aston Martin VALOUR: V12 engine and 6-speed MANUAL GEARBOX

The manufacturer plans to produce 110 examples of this exclusive athlete, and the first deliveries should begin at the end of 2023.

They are still coming to market sports cars with manual transmission. Many add to this: Hallelujah! And although Aston Martin now only uses automatic transmissions in its production models, the manufacturer from Gaydon it doesn't forget customers who also enjoy a third pedal in the footwell.

So: Let's raise the curtain on Aston Martin Value and with it exclusive Grand Tourers, which will be limited to 110 copies and equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission. The other main star (besides the manual transmission) in the Valour is 5,2-liter V12 engine with 715 hp and 753 Nm. This makes Aston Martin the only car in the world with a front-mounted V12 engine mated to a manual gearbox. The company claims to have specially calibrated the entire powertrain for the best possible performance the connection between the driver and the car, which can vary greatly depending on driving modes Sports, Sports+ in Track. Each of these settings corresponds to a different throttle response and an even more aggressive sound.

Aston Martin will build only 110 examples of this exclusive sports car.

Technical equipment of the model Aston Martin Value (English term for courage) also includes a special adaptive suspension, new steering assistance and a carbon-ceramic braking system with 410 mm discs in front and 360 mm behind. The latter solution saves 23 kg compared to steel brakes and provides high temperature resistance up to 800 degrees Celsius. The 21-inch rims with new tires are also a special feature Michelin Pilot Sport S5 (275/35 R21 front and 325/20 R21 rear). The body (which is entirely made of carbon fiber) combines the most iconic models from Aston Martin history. The most obvious are the allusions to the robate V8 Vantage from the XNUMXs, the elegant side line is reminiscent of One-77, and the last part is unique Victor. There are large cooling air intakes in the long bonnet biturbo V12 engine, and round LED headlights are housed in an ornate massive grille. Valour it also has an extremely thin exhaust system, only 1 mm thick, which saves an additional 7 kg.

V cockpit all attention is focused on the gear lever, which can be customized with a choice of aluminum, titanium, carbon fiber or walnut wood. The seats are upholstered with fabrics modeled after the model DBR1, the winner 1959 Le Mans, and are complemented by carbon fiber trim on the dashboard, transmission tunnel and door trim. Of course, every vehicle can be carefully maintained to adjust and so create a unique collector's item. The price? Of course, this is not talked about in such circles.
