ŠKODA Enyaq (Coupe) RS from now on with even MORE POWER and REACH

The sporty electric SUV was also given faster charging with direct current.

Škoda after less than two years on the market, it is improving its high-performance electric SUV, which was launched in January 2022. The conventionally designed version is even newer, given that the Czech brand Enyaq RS introduced in October 2022. Now the dynamic duo gets two essential upgrades – more power and greater range.

Enyaq RS has officially received a significant increase in power, namely 40 hp. The two engines now produce a combined 335 hp, making Škoda's already most powerful production car even more powerful, eclipsing the upcoming superba, which will be capable of 261 hp. Thanks to the newly acquired electric impulse, the 0-100 km/h run takes five and a half seconds, which is a whole second faster than before.

The extra power usually comes at the expense of range, but that's not the case with the new Enyaq more efficient than its predecessor. The electric motors have been recalibrated, and the new power management software provides 15 kilometers of additional range for the regular RS model and a total of 541 kilometers. If you decide on the "coupe", you will get an additional 26 kilometers, that is 547 kilometers range according to WLTP.

The news is even better, as Škoda is also improving charging with direct current s 135 kW to 175 kW, which will reduce the battery charging time from 10 to 80 percent in eight minutes. This task will now be able to be completed in approx 28 minutes.

Otherwise, the model year 2024 model is also equipped with changes to the graphics used by the digital instrument panel, head-up display and infotainment system. At the beginning of this year, the Enyaq model received a luxury-oriented level of equipment Laurin & Clement.

It is worth noting that it is Škoda already announced the second generation of the model Enyag for 2025, when its more elegant relative with a slanted roof line is also expected to enter the market.
