NISSAN will produce three new ELECTRIC cars

All three models, the Juke, the Qashqai and the successor to the Leaf, will be built at the British plant in Sunderland.

Nissan announces three new electric cars: Nissan Juke and Qashqai will get fully electric successors, and the successor will also get an electric one Nissan Leaf. All three cars will be built at the British factory in Sunderland.

From now on everyone will be new Nissan models purely electric cars; there will apparently be no more new internal combustion engines or hybrids. By the year at the latest 2030 models will also be excluded from the program passenger cars with internal combustion engines still being sold – vans such as townstar, Primastar in interstar, are clearly excluded.

All three new electric models will be manufactured by Nissan at its plant in Sunderland.

Original Nissan's the press release reads as follows:

"With today's announcement, Nissan emphasizes that in the future all new models in Europe will be fully electric. By 2030, the range of passenger cars is expected to be completely diverted to electric cars."

– Nissan Hyper Urban Car Concept

– Nissan Hyper Punk Concept

– 2021 Nissan Chill-Out Concept

Nissan is said to have received inspiration for the new three electric cars from its recently presented Hyper studies

Further information on three models, including model names, dates and time of market launch, will be according to the manufacturer published later. Second generation salary was presented in 2018, so it would deserve a change of flight version 2025 – the previous generation was on the market for seven years. Second generation Juke was introduced in 2019 and is therefore one year younger. It's even fresher Qashqai, whose third generation began to be sold only in 2021.

Sunderland is the UK's largest car factory. They are currently making models there Leaf, Juke and Qashqai. With the announcement of the successors, all three will be suitable for the future. This will also provide jobs for approx 7000 Nissans employed in the United Kingdom.

The Chill-Out Concept could be the third generation Nissan Leaf.

A production center known as EV36Zero, was thoroughly remodeled and expanded to start production of new electric models. Nissan together with partners invested in the first model (probably the successor to the Leaf model). a billion pounds (1,15 billion euros). An additional two billion pounds (2,3 billion euros) will now be spent on two other models (probably Juke and Qashqai). For these two billion, Sunderland also builds the third battery factory.
