BMW will produce only electric cars at its main factory in Munich from the end of 2027

We will invest 650 million euros here, so that from the end of 2027 we will exclusively produce electric vehicles in our main factory,” says the production director Milan Nedeljkovic.

Factory manager in Munich Peter Weber adds: “The heart of BMW beats here in Munich. The Munich plant is innovative and versatile. Just like in the 1960s, the Neue Klasse is once again laying the groundwork for our factory to reinvent itself.” The mid-range model that saved the company BMW in trouble, was actually made in Munich. Milan Nedeljković, director of BMW production in Munich, confirmed that from the end of 2027 only electric cars will be produced at the parent factory.
