Rezvani Beast has 1.000 horses, bulletproof windows and an optional smoke screen

Options include a smoke screen to make sure the person you're competing with loses… whatever happens.

It's been announced for months, and now it's here. Say hello Beast, the latest crazy vehicle from the California company rezvani. If the name is familiar to you, it is no coincidence, because the first Rezvani was also called Beast. However, this one was based on a model Ariel Atom, and the new Beast is basically a Chevrolet Corvette C8. According to Rezvani, it has electrified door handles, bulletproof glass, a smoke screen function and 1.000 horsepower.

Let's start with the engine. A case of 6,2-liter V8, which is no different from the one you find under the hood Corvette Stingray, although this one uses a pair of turbochargers to develop 1.000 hp and 1.200 Nm of torque. We didn't get any other details about the engine, but it's still mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with paddle shifters on the steering wheel.

Rezvani claims that Beast it reaches a speed of 100 km/h in 2,5 seconds and covers the quarter mile in 9,6 seconds. Performance is aided by a carbon fiber bodywork that reduces the vehicle's weight to 1.342 kilograms. The exterior retains some features Corvette C8, such as large side air intakes and a removable roof, but there are sharp body lines on the front and fenders of the 'Vette model largely eliminated by smoother designs. An aggressive look is given by the four exhaust tips that surround the rear large diffuser below. The wild supercar theme is rounded off by the butterfly liftgate.

There's more inside Chevrolet flavor, although Rezvani did away with the row of buttons between the driver and passenger seats. The steering wheel is also cut off at the top, which, according to the company, was affected formula 1. It replaced the company logo Corvette emblem on the airbag, and the dashboard has received fresh upholstery, which we find a bit strange. Perhaps this is due to the many options available on this sleek machine.

For those who want to play James Bond, an option package “007” is available for $ 45.000, which includes gas masks, thermal night vision, electromagnetic pulse protection, electrified door handles, pepper spray, magnetic latches, strobe lights, sirens, a first aid kit and hypothermia, and for some inexplicable reason, a two-seater supercar intercom system. A system for detection of explosive devices, but no price is listed for it.

It is also available for the supercar legal armor, but you will be charged extra for it $ 55.000. For this you get an unspecified number of armor items for the exterior and bulletproof glass. Probably this greatly reduces the performance of the model Beast. But that's the price for stylish survival of the apocalypse.

Rezvani for the Beast requires dizzying $ 485.000. And that's before all those weird gadgets are added. With the 007 packs and armor included, the price increases to $ 585.000. But even if you have enough money, you may have a hard time getting your hands on the Beast, as it is slated for production only 20 copies.
