After many trailers, which did not allow major surprises, is VW now officially introduced VW ID.7 Tourer. We can now see the electric hatchback for the first time no camouflage, and the most important facts and figures are also available.
One of the most important values is trunk volume: while the usual has VW ID.7 volume exactly 532-1.586 liters, the hatchback has volume 605-1.714 liters. This means that the volume of the trunk is approximately the same as in BMW i5 Touring (570-1.700 liters). The comparison is justified, because VW ranks its electric hatchback in upper middle class, i.e. completely equivalent to the BMW model.
V Evropi the model will be presented first ID.7 Tourer Pro s 77-kWh battery, and a little later ID.7 Tourer Pro S with a new one 86-kWh battery, which was also announced for the sedan. Both will have rear-wheel drive and a powerful engine 210 kW. Battery with 77 kWh it should be possible to charge with a power of up to 175 kW, version s 86 kWh and even with 200 kW. All-wheel drive versions four wheels VW doesn't mention, but they are likely to follow the z version 210 and 250 kW, which we know from the ID.4 model.

Serial equipment ID.7 Pro includes LED lights, 19-inch alloy wheels, roof racks, keyless entry and start system, luggage net, head-up display with augmented reality function, reversing camera, dual-zone automatic climate control with smart vents and heated seats.
IDA voice assistant now he knows too weather forecast, condition scheduled flights, football match results and news. Because of the integration Wikipedia you can also ask knowledge questions about a wide variety of topics. It is also integrated for the first time Chat GPT. Another innovation is the optional application Wellness In-Car, with which you can adjust in one step lighting, sound, air conditioning and seat massage. You can also adjust the transparency of the glass roof with it.
Length, width, height and wheelbase they are the same as in a limousine. At the rear, the hatchback's roofline stretches further back, and the rear slopes down more steeply. The latter is slightly obscured by the black roof:

As with the limousine, the rear side is also decorated thick LED light strip – optionally as “3D rear lights” with animated brake lights in dynamic indicators. Depending on the equipment, the VW badge is also illuminated here.
Dashboard is the same as in the salon. Besides 15-inch only a small touch screen is available instrument display, but it is head-up screen available as standard.
Just like the regular model ID.7 (and part of the ID.4 model) will also ID.7 Tourer made in a factory in Emden. Prices and the exact date of the start of sales on the market have not yet been announced. For reference: limousine ID.7 Pro is available at a price list 56.995 euros (before deduction of the "promotional premium" in the amount of 4.760 euros). The station wagon will probably be for approx 2.000 euros more expensive, similar to BMW. With a price of approx 59.000 euros would be for approx 13.000 euros cheaper od BMW i5 Tourer, which with a comparable drive system is only available from 72.200 euros. However, it probably won't be a sporty model like it is VW's M60 with 442 kW.
