The entire range of Dacia vehicles now complies with the latest European Union safety regulations, which come into effect in July 2024.

Dacia is known for prioritizing affordability over autonomous driving systems, but due to regulatory changes in Europe, its models must be equipped with at least the basic package. To meet the new rules, the Romanian automaker has announced a series of updates for the family model year Sandero, Sandero Stepway, Logan in Jogger, which add more ADAS systems and new features.

As required by European Union regulation GSR II (Global Safety Regulation II), which comes into force in July 2024, all Dacia models are now equipped with the following: Event Data Recorder, Alcohol Immobilizer Preparation, Traffic Sign Recognition with Speed Alert, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, Driver Attention Alert , rear parking assist, light and rain sensors, AEB system (for pedestrians and cyclists) and emergency stop signal.

In addition, the Jogger Expression and Sandero Stepway trim levels have a new sticker on the front door with the GPS coordinates of the Romanian road Transfagarasan, if you want to take advantage of their adventurous qualities for a trip to the famous mountain pass.

They have all models inside USB-C connectors (instead of USB-A) and a new "My Safety" button on the left side of the dashboard to quickly turn off some ADAS systems. In addition, the Jogger Hybrid 140 benefits from a new 7-inch digital instrument panels, which was recently introduced in the Duster model, and the “E-Save” function, which maintains a 70% battery charge level.

In the name of sustainability, the 400-page manual is now available in digital form, and a paper version is available upon request. In return, there is a 32-page quick guide to help owners get to know their new car.

models Sandero, Sandero Stepway, Logan and Jogger will be available to order from April 2024, depending on the market. Prices will be announced closer to the start of market sales. It's Sandero an important model of the Romanian car manufacturer, as it has been consistently among the best-selling cars in Europe since 2017.
