Tires in Spa: Ferrari and Red Bull more aggressive than Mercedes

For the race in Belgium, which will be scheduled immediately after the summer break, Merecdes has ordered more sets of medium tires than all the others. Ferrari in Red Bull however, they took a more aggressive approach.

In fact, we get information on the choice of tire compound Formula 1 just a week before the race, however, because the royal motorsport class is on vacation, it is the umbrella organization FIA choosing a mixture of tires for the race GP of Belgium manufacturer Pirelli intervened earlier.

That the racers will v Spa-Francorchamps raced with these hardest mixtures in Pirelli's offer has been known for several weeks. It is now also known which racer will receive how many sets of the mixture from C1 to C3. Mercedes has picked a more conservative choice here. Lewis Hamilton in Valtteri Bottas they will receive only eight sets of soft mixture each. Therefore, they will get four sets of medium mix. In the hard mix, however, Mercedes joined almost all the racers who chose one set each. Le George Russell he chose two sets.

And while silver arrows prefer a medium mix of tires, direct competitors are significantly more aggressive. Ferrari in Red Bull they chose two sets of medium rubber compound for Vettel, Leclerc, Verstappen in Gaslya. That’s why both teams have ten sets of soft mix each. Also Renault in Haas they set off for the Ardennes race with a more aggressive choice of tires. The remaining teams, however, hit a slightly more even choice.
