I always have to think of Anthoine. I hope people will remember him for a long time to come. The race was tough, in the end I struggled with the tires. However, I believe it has shown good tire management. Mercedes was stronger in the race than in qualifying. Pole and victory is a good result for us. In the end, Hamilton approached resolutely, which is why I had to work honestly. I was very relieved to see the target flag. I'm not sure if I could stay behind for long. "
Lewis Hamilton, Mercedes - second place: “I did my best. It was not an easy race, as Ferrari was extremely fast on the plains. Towards the end of the race I tried to put pressure on Leclerc, but I ran out of time. We drive 44 laps here, and everyone knows this is my lucky number.
