V Formulas 1 it would be hard to find someone who would be happy with these many penalties for the addition of places due to the installation of new engine parts. Sometimes defining is precise starting order Sunday racing is a very demanding mental task. Who received how much of the city mark-up? Who replaced the parts first? Who replaced one and who replaced several parts? Many fans just roll their eyes at this. But dear motorsport fans, you don’t have to worry, because obviously it can be picked up yet stupid way. For the greats at FIA they are seriously considering race cars that have been replaced by mechanics part of the engine, which was outside the allowed contingent, installed additional ballast. It’s the same as if I wanted to replace the plague with cholera, which are in Singapore also pointed out by some team bosses.

Cyril Abiteboul, team boss Renault, advocated for something else. The Frenchman is v Singapore said: “Why not leave the starting line as it is? The order of qualifications should remain. Whoever has to be punished should receive the penalty in the race, otherwise he could stay at one stop in the pits or he would be given time after the race. This would be much more transparent for fans than this ballast proposal."

The first man McLaren, Zack brown, so to me: “It’s true that this would definitely be easier to understand than all this salad with city surcharges. This would be an additional strategic challenge for the teams and would put more salt in the soup for the race itself."

Christian Horner emphasized that the ballasts did not work in the second racing series, so why should they be in Formula 1 - Photo: Hasan Bratić

Christian horner, team boss Red Bull Racing, however, expressed concerns: “In other racing categories, we can see that this simply doesn’t work with ballasts. In addition, today’s system spoils fans ’qualifications. If a racer knows that he will have to start at the start of the starting line anyway, then we cannot expect much from him in the qualifications."

Steiner, however, expressed concerns about how these ballasts should be explained to people and believes that the time surcharge is definitely a better solution - Photo: Hasan Bratić

Gunther Steiner, team boss Haas, he says: “But how are we going to explain this ballast to people? Suddenly, some top racer is slower on the road and this is of course not desirable. We need to find a penalty that will not turn everything upside down and that will be understood by the fans as well. A time penalty is definitely better here than ballast."
