A popular racetrack Spa-Francorchamps has in the original race calendar Formula 1 appointment 30. August, but the Belgian government adopted a decree on ban mass events in the country until 31 August.

Race promoter vanessa maes is a colleague from RTBF said: "We are still waiting for the green light from the government so that a race without an audience could take place on Sunday 30 August. We are all well aware that every race organizer depends on their government."

Organizers of the race for the Belgian Grand Prix in Spa are waiting for the green light from the government to be able to hold the event behind closed doors.

Some are otherwise skeptical of the plan Formula 1 regarding closed-door races, but Daniil Kvyat, team racer Alpha Tauri he says he would be happy to take part in such a race, even though it would be without spectators somewhat strange.

Russian AlphaTauri racer Daniil Kvyat thinks racing without an audience will be weird, but the most important thing is to start racing.

"The main thing is that we can race again,”So Russian for colleagues from Sport-Express. "If that means we have to wear protective masks and we shouldn’t have contact, no problem. Especially since we won't have contacts,”He adds with a smile Kvyat. "It is important that we race. It will be really weird without spectators, but I think it will be the safest for everyone. If it needs to be done to race again, then so be it."
