CARLOS SAINZ: I don't come to FERRARA as number 2 racer

Despite reports from some media and experts to the contrary, Carlos Sainz insists he will not join Ferrari as the No. 2 racer.

It will be next year Carlos Sainz moved to Ferrari, where it will be instead Sebastian Vettl became a new teammate Charles Leclerc. The Spaniard is s Scuderia signed a two-year contract, Leclerc however, it is tied until 2024.

That led to speculation and rumorsthat it will be due to the fact that it is Leclerc future Ferrari, Sainz in the team only as his assistant. Sleep however, he is convinced that he will not be a bringer of water for the young Monaco. In an interview with COPE in Radio Brand he made it clear that although his contract says it is team in the first place, this does not specify racer status. "I didn't sign anything to say about racer number 2," so Sleep. "It says in my contract, as in all I have signed, that the team is above the racer, but it does not give anyone an advantage over the other."

Carlos Sainz once again made it clear that he is not coming to the Ferrari team as the number 2 racer and as an assistant to new team-mate Charles Leclerc.

The current racer McLaren continues: “I know I will give everything for Ferrari and I will give everything they need to win. In this regard, I am not interested in the color of the car. I treat all racers the same, we are all competitors and we fight for success. If a complicated situation arises, I will make the right decision, don’t worry." Sainz is confident he will cope with the pressure of racing for Ferrari. "I know full well that the pressure is higher at Ferrari than elsewhere. You have to beat a Formula 1 team with thick skin. Ferrari is a step higher in this regard, but I think I am ready for that pressure."
