It was discussed about different scenarios, among others also about shortening the racing weekend. But one month before the inaugural race season 2020 it is clear that nothing will change in this regard.
This is also evident from official schedule of the Austrian 2020 Grand Prix in Spielberg. formula 1 stays with his three-day format, which we are also used to from the past. On Friday, the racers will have two 90-minute free workouts, follows on Saturday morning third, which will last, as before, only one hour. On Saturday afternoon they will be at 15 p.m. started the first of this year qualifications. Racewhich will be long 71 rounds, will follow on Sunday at 15.10:XNUMX p.m..
V Framework Program as last year, the events will also take place Formula 2 in Formula 3, as well as Porsche supercup. Together they will be on the racing weekend at Red Bull Ringu performed six races. The whole event in Austria will take place without the presence of spectators and with reduced number of staff team.
Red Bull is for both races - the second, GP of Styria, will be on the program a week later - developed a special security concept, which to satisfy the current health guidelines for safe racing.
