HAAS does not preclude signing a contract with a paid racer

Haas boss Günther Steiner does not rule out the possibility that the team may turn to paying racers in the future.

The idea to racers paid for its seat in Formulas 1, is not popular, but for teams that are on tail of the table, it can be crucial for their survival. It's been a while Kevin Magnussen said he would leave the team Haas, if they demand that he have to pay for his seat.

Gunther Steiner, team boss Haas, said he is not yet considering composition racing teams teams for the 2021 season. "I think the racing market started very fast this year because of what was happening at Ferrari. It all started early, but now it's calmed down again," so Steiner for colleagues from Motorsport. "We haven't had any conversations yet, we haven't even started thinking about racers yet. First we want to get back to racing. We had to do a lot of things during that period, so the racers were our least concern, to be honest."

The Haas team has not even thought about the racing lineup of the 2021 season, let alone debated, but they know that this time will also come. However, they do not and do not exclude the possibility of hiring a paid racer.

"Of course, I wanted to make sure they were safe and that everything was fine, not about what we were going to do next year. But this topic will come very quickly, we know that. And I don't have an answer to that right now,He added Steiner, with the team owner To Gene Haas he hadn’t yet talked about the racers, which is why he also couldn’t answer whether he would Haas he also hired a paid racer. “We have not discussed this yet. Since we haven’t talked about racers yet, it means we haven’t discussed racers paying for their seat or anything like that either. I do not include or exclude anything. This has not yet been discussed with Gene Haas,”He concluded Steiner.
