SYLVAN ADAMS: The Canadian interest in WILLIAMS is just a coincidence

Canadian "intrusion”In the team Williams began years ago 2017when he signed a racing contract with the team Lance stroll, understandably thanks to the heavy support of his father, a Canadian billionaire Lawrence Stroll.

He joined the team this year as a racer Nicholas latifi, also (yes, you guessed it) thanks to the father’s financial support Michael Latifi, another Canadian mogul who through his company Sofina Foods draws significant funds into the team coffers.

The Canadian influence on the Williams team began in 2017 with Lawrence Stroll buying a seat for his son, this year it was done by another Canadian mogul Michael Latifi for his son Nicholas.

And finally, here it is Roy nissany, spares racer Williams, which he supports Sylvan Adamswho wants to go to the championship Formula 1 to bring an Israeli racer. With the team Williams the Canadian won the title in 1997 Jacques Villeneuve. Although it is Adams happy, however, says they are these Canadian connections are purely random.

Reserve racer Roy Nissan is backed by Canadian-Israeli billionaire Sylvan Adams, an otherwise big cycling enthusiast who wants to bring an Israeli racer to the Formula 1 championship.

In a conversation for Motor Sport he said: "Lawrence Stroll is a racing fanatic and this has been his whole life, so now his son Lance is realizing his personal dream. That he has his own team in which his son races, I think that is very satisfying for him. In the case of Nicholas Latifi, however, I know his father Michael very well. Here again, it is about long-term support for his son. It’s a coincidence that there are three Canadians here, even though we’re not really famous in motorsport. We will be able to compare and compete with each other in a friendly way and see who will prevail in the end,”Adds Adams.
