Porsche PANAMERA: The main CHANGES are under the bonnet

Just over four years after its premiere in the summer of 2016, the second-generation Porsche Panamera, codenamed 971, received a mid-life overhaul.

While they are cosmetic changes exteriors of a more reserved character and many will not even notice them, they are in Zuffenhausen Panamera devoted some noticeable improvements under the shell itself.

For starters, they are a model Turbo replaced with version Turbo S, so that from now on it will be possible to rely on services four-liter V8who can 463 kW (630 HP) and 820 Nm of maximum torque, which is 80 hp and 50 Nm more than before. It all comes down to sprinting from a place up to 100 km / h 3,1 seconds and top speed 315 km / h.

A novelty is also a completely new plug-in hybrid with the label Panamera 4S E-Hybrid, which combines operation 2,9-liter V6 with two turbochargers, which is sufficient for a system power of 412 kW (560 hp) and 750 Nm of maximum torque. One hundred hybrid specimen reaches v 3,7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 298 km / h. Only electricity can otherwise be driven to 54 kilometers away.

Porsche has also updated other versions of the model Panamera. Model Panamera GTS from now on it can produce 353 kW (480 hp) of maximum power, which is 20 hp more than before the renovation. Basic model Panamera in Panamera 4 henceforth it is powered by a 2,9-liter V6 with a maximum power of 243 kW (330 hp) and 450 Nm of maximum torque.

Renovated Panamera, which will also be available in advance as limousine, Sport Tourism and as a version of s extended wheelbase, will henceforth provide even more driving pleasure, while Porsche has also placed great emphasis on driving comfort. The system is also completely new Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM).

Renovated Panamera is already on sale in European markets, and prices are also known German market, starting at € 91.345 for the rear-wheel drive Panamera.
