Jack and sons Geoff, Gary and David Brabham
Sir --Jack Brabham (1926-2014) was a three-time world champion (1959, 1960, 1966), winning 14 of the 126 races in which he competed. His three sons became racers: Geoff (born 1952) competed in the CART Championship from 1981 to 1994 (four times was third and highest fourth on the Indy 500 in 1983). He was also a four-time American champion in the sports car series (IMSA GTP), and he also became a winner in 1993 in Le Mans. Gary (born 1961) is in non-competitive racing team Life in 1989 he failed to qualify for the Formula 1 race. David (born 1965) drove in F1990 for 1994 and 1 for Brabham in simtech, and in 2009 with Alex Wurz in Marco Gene won at Le Mans (Peugeot) and was a two-time American Series champion Le Mans (ALMS).
Niki and Mathias Lauda
About three Niki's (1949-2019) world champion titles were written all and more. Less well known, however, is that he can also boast the title of world champion son of Mathias (born 1981). In 2017, it’s after the finals WEC series in Bahrain together with Pedro Lamy in Paulo dalla Lano lifted the trophy as the overall winner in the GTE-Am category (with four wins in eight races).
