Judging by speculation, which have been popping up in the media lately, could Sergio Perez in the team Williams replaced the young George Russell. And the interim team boss from Grove, Simon Roberts, in Portugal did not want to confirm whether they will Russell but his teammate Nicholas latifi remained in the 2021 season as well Toto wolff, team boss Mercedes, otherwise said Russell is the star of the future, but it is Williams ’decision whether to keep him on his team or not.

Toto Wolff, head of the Mercedes team, admits that he talked to Williams about the situation of the young Russell, but points out that this is ultimately their decision.

"We all know about his abilities. George is the star of the future, who has not been beaten by his teammates in Formula 1 so far. Sometimes he can show top performances in a race car that is not currently competitive. And I think it’s a great trump card for the team. But obviously there is a financial reality that I can't judge and it's up to the new owners and Simon Roberts to decide what and how to do next," so Wolff, who confirmed that he was in contact with Williams glede Russell position in the team. “We touched on the basics about George, but in the end, like I said, it’s their decision."
