HYUNDAI i20 N: POISON IN SMALLER BOTTLE

The small sports car segment has fewer and fewer representatives, but the new Hyundai i20 N is a logical move, especially considering how successful the i30 N is and that they have been successfully participating in the WRC with the i20 for years.

Hyundai i30 N is one of the most respected cars in its class, so the Korean brand decided to expand the offer with smaller model. In doing so, they did not take into account the fact that there are fewer and fewer such cars on the market and that the demand is much lower than ten years ago. New Hyundai i20 N is a logical move given that the i30 N is very successful and yes racing version i20 has been successfully participating in the World Rally Championship for years (WRC).

New i20 N in appearance it is very reminiscent of the i30 N. It took on a characteristic of it blue color (of course, others will also be available) and red exterior trim elements. The aggressive look is accentuated by a number of other details, such as 18-inch diameter rims and rear diffuser with a large exhaust pipe.

It drives him 1,6-liter gasoline engine with 204 hp and 275 Nm, which turns a car weighing only 1.190 kilograms into a fast sports car. Top speed is 230 km / h, acceleration to 100 km / h takes 6,7 seconds. The sound of the car is, as with the i30 N, of course completely sporty as a result of use special exhaust system with special valves with which you can change the sound.

Compared to classic i20 the N version is an additional 10 mm closer to the ground, has sport suspension, steering wheel and stronger brakes. You can choose between five driving modes - Normal, Eco, Sport, N in No Custom. The transmission is manual, but as with the i30 N it is equipped with a system that automatically provides intergas.

Hyundai i20 N comes to market in the spring, and prices have not yet been announced.
