TURKEY GP, race: Lewis HAMILTON wins 7TH TITLE

After a tumultuous qualifiers and a chaotic race, everything finally fell into place. Lewis Hamilton won his seventh title with a smart ride and clever tactics.

The chaotic race in Istanbul earned its reputation even before the start, as it broke its Alfa already in the formation round Antonio Giovinazzi, gasly he had previously been penalized with a start from the start because he had to replace parts of the drive unit, and Williams also put a dot on i driver George Russell, which collided on import into the pits.

The entire caravan was shod in rain tires at the start, only Williams they tried with Intermediate tires. At the start, they both "fell asleep" or rather, they both turned into space Red Bull Racingwhile Lance stroll defended the first starting position without any problems. The first bend otherwise brought close contact between the two Renault, for which Hamilton was indirectly to blame, and the victim of the incident was at Esteban Ocon self Valtteri Bottas, which spun when the Frenchman's Renault suddenly found itself in front of his cars.

It seemed that Lance stroll in Sergio Perez they have no trouble controlling the race, and he took care of the surprise of the first part of the race Sebastian Vettel in third place, which he held behind Max Verstappen. Hamilton was in sixth place in the first part of the race and thus also the champion, as Bottas slipped on the tail of the table after spinning. Charles Leclerc was among the first to decide to replace rain tires with intermediate tires and with great times he soon proved that the decision was the right one, so most of the racers followed him. He replaced them among the last Max Verstappen, who didn’t have the best experience with them from Saturday’s qualifiers.

After resignation Giovinazzi and a virtual security car is in the hunt for Vettel lowered Lewis Hamilton, which was much faster than the German, but the latter did not let him pass, and all together he managed to take advantage Alex Albon, which overtook both - and that on intermediate tires. It was a little further up front Verstappen started Laziness in second place, and in a rather risky overtaking maneuver spun and fell down the ladder backwards, though he performed the pirouette in such a way that he did not lose much time.

He spun a lot too Valtteri Bottas, who failed to detach from the tail of the ranked, meanwhile Verstappen when exporting from the pits, he also ran over the white line separating the pits from the pits and the race track, which means that he faces a penalty after the end of the race. Sebastian Vettel he managed to save himself Hamilton's breathing for the collar, in front of him Albon pressed on Laziness, meanwhile he was Stroll still a good three seconds ahead of the Mexican.

The drying of the track led many teams to think of replacing the rain tires with dry track tires, but in the end they all opted for these intermediate tires, which, however, began to slowly overheat. The new kit caused a lot of headaches for the former leader Stroll, who started to lose place after city, but of course others also had quite a few problems and the spins were an integral part of the last part of the race as well. Most of the racers turned into the pits twice and in the end they were just left outside Hamilton in Perez, who did not change their tires until the end, and all in the end decided the race in their favor.

We watched until the end Hamilton's show on more than forty laps of old tires. In the end, the weather threatened a bit, but there was no predicted rain and the Briton crowned his seventh world title with a victory. Before that, he is his teammate Bottas overtook another lap.

Just before the end of the race we saw another attack Charles Leclerc na Sergio Pereza. Monacan managed to overtake the Mexican, but the latter did not let go and hit back. Leclerc he made a mistake, which he took advantage of Sebastian Vettel, which for the first time this year managed to break through to the (lowest) step of the winning podium.
