Van der GARDE: As long as HAMILTON is racing for Mercedes, we will not see RUSSELL in the team

And it’s not just about working on the new generation of race cars unveiled as part of the Silverstone racing weekend, but also at racing team teams for the period from 2022 onwards.

Doubts about performance Valtteria Bottas have been present for some time. But the former Formula 1 racer Giedo van der Garde thinks so Russell he will not go to the German team next season. “I’m not sure this is going to happen. As long as Hamilton is racing for Mercedes, we won’t see young Russell on the team."

That would mean that Russell he will not be racing for a top team again next season. Van der Garde therefore expects not much to change in the situation for the Englishman. “He will stay with Williams."
