Enter the largest synagogue in the world
Budapest is home to many Jews, their synagogue on the street Dohány (Dohány Street Synagogue) but one of the most interesting buildings in the city. It was completed in 1862 and is the second largest synagogue in the world - It has room for almost 3000 people. It is on the left side of the entrance to the synagogue Jewish Museum, featuring a collection of ancient Jewish ritual objects and a creepy exhibition by Fr. the Hungarian Holocaust, in which more than half a million lives were lost.
