Charles Leclerc raced alongside Sebastian Vettl on the Ferrari for two years. Looking at their time together, the young Monaco says that there was not the same competition against him as against Carlos Sainz, his current teammate.

Za Sebastian Vettl was Charles Leclerc last teammate at Ferrari, and for Monaco, the German was first in the team from Maranello. Today 23-year-old he could learn a lot from a much more experienced German.

And although in their two years together better cut off as a routine, however, it was not easy to beat today’s racer Aston Martin. That’s what Leclerc said recently back in a podcast Beyond the Grid, where he recalled: “In his good days, he was simply amazing and it was incredibly hard to beat, if not impossible.“His current teammate Carlos Sainz it is also strong, but the differences are unequivocal. “Carlos is simply very constant, so different approaches follow. But they are both very strong."

Monachan continues: “Vettel had so much experience, which is why the internal fight was different. It was not the same way of competing against him as against Carlos, with whom we are more or less the same age and we compete against each other in everything. It was different with Himself, he was much more experienced, which made him a little more relaxed and less ambitious. If I wanted to win something, then he let me win, so I was happy, and he didn't care,”He concluded Leclerc.
