The first man of Formula 1, Stefano domenicali, has officially announced that the race for GP Miami v in early May next year. Formula 1 has signed a ten-year contract with the race promoters.
Initially, the race was scheduled to take place in the second half of the season, but the greats apparently changed their minds and set the date for the beginning of May. Sundays says: "We're not halfway through this season, but planning for the 2022 season has been going on for some time."
“We hope to be able to publish the provisional calendar as early as September or October this year. I can confirm that the long-awaited race for the Miami Grand Prix has already been confirmed for the beginning of May, and we are especially pleased with the fact that the demand for tickets is already very high, ” je Sundays revealed for Motorsportweek.com.
At first, it was expected that the race in Miami followed the race for Canadian GP in Montreal, but this will obviously not be the case, as the race will be in Montreal scheduled for mid-June. The 2022 season is expected to begin in mid-March v Bahrain, Monako however, it will air on May 29.
