Max VERSTAPPEN: “I didn't have an easy job”

Max Verstappen took a 1: 32.910 minute time in the US Grand Prix qualifiers in Austin for yesterday's pole position, but after a bad Friday, no one believed it was possible.

Dutchman was a good two tenths of a second faster than Lewis Hamilton and, like the championship leader, will start today's race from the best starting position. Logically, he was Verstappen satisfied by qualifications.

"Yes! Also in Q2, it was very exciting to do a good lap time on a harder tire compound,”Is Verstappen said in the first reaction. “Then in Q3 my first quick lap wasn’t great and in the second attempt it started dripping a bit especially in the last sector which made me not sure I would keep my time in the lap but in the end it worked and it was great to win the pole,”So the Dutchman, who was also happy that his teammate came in third Sergio Perez.

"Starting the race from places 1 and 3 represents a strong team result,”Added the team racer Red Bull, who will start the race at Lewis Hamilton in the first starting row. “I think that’s what people love. I hope we have a good start. We will have to work well with the team to achieve the best possible result.“He was during the qualifiers Red Bull very busy with his front wings, but this did not pose any serious problems. “You can only adjust the front wings during qualifying. We made some changes to the car over the weekend and it’s easier to work if you take off the wings,”He explained Verstappen.
