It is clear that the outcome of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix race, in which Max Verstappen won and won his first championship title, is still being debated.

So it’s no wonder he’s somebody a fanatical fan Lewis Hamilton as the apostle of the savior started online petition, where he demands to be crowned the champion of the 2021 season racer of the Mercedes team.

He set up the petition immediately after Sunday's race Patel Gordon-Bennett. The petition has not yet been taken by storm, as it only cast its vote on Monday 1600 spectators, which for the fame he enjoys Hamilton and the general outrage over social media is not great. But it seems to be burning followers of the British they are not happy with the result of the race in Abu Dhabi. Petition subtitle reads: “Lewis should be the winner.“His fans believe he is at the end of the final race injustice has occurred. Michael Masi, FIA director of racing, according to them made the wrong decision regarding the situation with the safety car and thus interfered too strongly in the championship.

Pompous textaccompanying this petition reads: "I believe that on Sunday 12 December 2021, justice was not served when the Commissioners denied the victory of Lewis Hamilton. With less than one lap left until the end of the race, some racers were allowed to pass the safety car, which is not in line with the rules of the Formula 1 sport.”According to founder of the petition this directly led to that Verstappen got a chance to overtake Hamilton. “If you are an advocate of justice and fairness, sign this petition. Leaving this decision as it is will send the wrong message to young and future racers."

We are convinced that even in Slovenia obstajajo ardent Hamilton fans, who still can't get through Sunday's race today, so they can cast their vote in a petition at THIS LINK.

Comment

To this hysteria of concern about sport and the fairness of competition, let me express my concern precisely because of this hypocritical hysteria and the demands that Hamilton was violated in the last race for everything that is violated. Dear fans, then Mazepin could also open the poll and call for the Briton to get a penalty for offenses for which other racers were punished within ten seconds. I cite just one example, there are others. There are 20 racers in the championship and not just Hamilton. And one more thing: Formula 1 has long ceased to be a sport, but a show raised to the realm of Hollywood by the new owners of Liberty Media. With a view to greater viewership, greater excitement and participation on social media, whether it is reasonable or hysterical comments. Even bad advertising is advertising. I believe that our heads will cool down, our emotions will subside - this is already evident, except for fanatics - and that we will go on holiday calmly and wait for the new season, with new race cars, new tires and new opportunities for all 20 racers. Formula 1 is not Hamilton and Hamilton is not Formula 1, and that must be clear to everyone. Formula 1 was also not Michael Schumacher, nor was Ayrton Senna. Finally, let me add that this comment only reflects the author’s opinion! Is it subjective? Yes, just as subjective are all this hysteria and hypocrisy that is being staged around the last race of the season in Abu Dhabi. And for dessert, a comment from a British fan who says that Hamilton, as a Briton, was deprived of his title because Great Britain seceded from the European Union… so much for reason…
