After Friday's presentation of the new one Mercedes-AMG W13 in Silverston, the team spent one of its two permitted annual filming days for shakedown the new race car of the 2022 season. He was the first to sit in the cockpit George Russell, who had the honor of driving the first few laps.
Russellby Hamilton monitored from the pits, drove his part of the shakedown on a wet track and in a strong wind carried out a system check of the systems on the race car.
The weather then changed as he sat behind the wheel Hamilton, improved a little and the seven-time world champion drove a few laps, and one of them can also be seen from his perspective in the clip above. This is also the first onboard clip with the new 2022 race car at all.
