Formula 1 championship races are expected to be equipped soon new advanced wire fences. The FIA ​​claims that it is a system that enables greater viewer safety and track-side workers, while not obstructing the view of the track. They were developed by a company geobrugg, which also manufactures them.

With the help of new technologies, the Swiss company has succeeded increase the distance between individual pillars fences, thus achieving that there are fewer distracting elements that would obstruct the view of what is happening on the track. So far, the fences have had a distance of 4 meters between the pillars, geobrugg however, he extended it to six feet.

The designers managed to increase the distance between the pillars from four to six meters.

With that, they also provided greater safety for the participants in the races themselves, as the probability of colliding with one of the pillars is now significantly lower. There are new fences as well easier to transport, as they are lighter and require less concrete foundations. The FIA ​​has new fences already approved for use at Level 1 racetracks, which may host Formula 1 Championship races.
