In words Franz Tost, team boss Alpha Tauri, young Schumacher is not yet ready to move to Maranello to Ferrari. “He has to race for another team for another three years," so Austrian in conversation with colleagues from F1-Insider.com and at the same time adds that Formula 1 is very much today different from the time his father started in Formula 1 Michael and uncle Ralf Schumacher.

"First, he has to beat teammate Kevin Magnussen at Haas on a regular basis and try to succeed there. That's his job now and nothing else," so Tost. But to overcome Magnussen it is not easy yet. He was in Australia Schumacher for the first time faster in qualifying and also finished the race ahead of the Dane. In the short term, his transition to Ferrari not yet applicable. There he is Leclerc long-term contract, Sainz however, he has already indicated that he is about to sign an extension of the contract.

Charles Leclerc has a long-term contract with Ferrari and is currently leading the championship, and Carlos Sainz has already hinted that he will extend his contract. In this regard, Mick could find himself in the red race car first in 2024. But in Formula 1 it is difficult to predict ahead - Photo: HB Press
