The Spaniard thinks she should Formula 1 change format and says drivers are already talking to FOM in FIA on possible changes.
From the 2021 season onwards, Formula 1 is on the calendar as well some sprint races. Just like last year, they are also on the agenda in 2022 three sprint weekends, the first is just behind us. Next year will most likely be on scheduled six sprint races.
In words Sainz weekends for F1 drivers are becoming congested, so drivers are talking to the FOM and the FIA about changes. Sainz otherwise says it is a lot of potential on the calendar and that the race calendar will continue to expand. "But for some reason we may not have expected this year, both Thursday and Friday have become much longer for drivers."
As he says Sainz, drivers have to deal with the media more and more often, and more and more activities are planned during the weekend. All this while the F1 calendar continues to expand. "So we're going to have to find a way to control this more effectively," concludes the Ferrari driver.
