International Automobile Federation FIA is one of his own important officials in Formula 1 replaced by a former Mercedes teammate. Yesterday they announced that he was Austrian Peter bayer resigns and that he will be temporarily replaced by a British woman Shaila Ann Rao.
Bayer has been since 2017 Secretary General for Sport and from 2021 Executive Director FIAs in Formula 1. Why Bayer leaves s immediate effect, is still unknown, but news of his departure comes amid speculation about friction with FIA in Formula 1.
