Peugeot INCEPTION CONCEPT – a vision of the future

Predicting the design of the future with advanced technology. The car will feature the next generation i-Cockpit.

Peugeot is on CES 2023 predicted the future of the brand. The French automaker revealed the concept Inception, a radically designed electric vehicle that will inspire future models, including a compact car. According to the company, the new models will arrive within the year 2025.

The concept of elephants on Stellantis' STLA Large platform, which measures 5 meters in length, but the car will be only 1,34 meters tall. It uses 800 volt technology, contains battery s 100 kWh and offers a range of up to 800 kilometers with one charge. Thanks to the induction charging system, the battery can add up to in just five minutes 150 kilometers reach. The twin engine setup gives Inception four-wheel drive and almost 680 BAM. This is enough to accelerate the car to 100 km/h in less than three seconds.

Inception has a rectangular steering wheel on which the driver can control everything.

The electric car has a next generation Cockpit with a new control system Hypersquare, which replaces mechanical control connections to the system steer by wire. It is a core part of the technology rectangular steering wheel, which was inspired by video games. Various vehicle controls, such as the climate control and radio, are accessible just by moving your thumb and keeping your hand on the steering wheel. One of the most striking design features Inception is glass, which measures 7,25 kvadratnih metrov. Peugeot uses glass Narima, which undergoes a metal oxide treatment that was originally designed to cover astronaut helmets OURSELVES. It gives the car windows a yellow tint while maintaining their thermal properties.

The special feature of the vehicle is Narima glass, which NASA uses for the helmets or visors of astronauts.

He has the concept level 4 autonomous driving thanks to the system STLAAutoDrive. This mode transforms the cockpit from the driver's compartment into a comfort-oriented space. The car can pull away Hypersquare steering wheel, to make the dashboard disappear and create a more inviting cabin. The technology that Peugeot predicts with this car, it might seem virtual, but the French manufacturer hopes to bring most of the concept vehicle's innovations to production by the year 2025. Peugeot wants to fly 2030 to become the leading electrical brand in Evropi and plans to launch five electric vehicles in the next two years. The manufacturer has big plans, and with curiosity we can hope that they will come true.
