Mini Countryman the next generation has been in development for over a year. Details about it remain a mystery, but the last one spy shots they show the hatchback on a winter test, still covered in camouflage. Five-door Mini it still hides its precise design details covered by yellow camouflage. However, it should not be expected to be new Countryman strayed far from the brand's current design ethos.
Spy shots from February 2022 they captured the interior showing a small oval screen digital boards instruments behind the wheel. Mini offers the second generation of the station wagon sedan in the US with 1,5-liter turbo three-cylinder engine, optional turbo 2,0 liter and the four-cylinder will be in the version John Cooper Works provided as much as 301 hp. By comparison, the 2,0-liter turbo four-cylinder in the new X1 M35i develops 302 hp. The current Countryman is also available as plug-in hybrid, and this powertrain is expected to return for the third-generation model. A report from March 2022 states that the new plug-in hybrid may offer 322 BAM, with four-wheel drive and 88 kilometers pure electric driving.
The new Mini should be on sale for the US market this year for 2024 model year. However, Mini has yet to indicate when we'll see the new Countryman model, but it looks like it should happen soon.
