Porsche is preparing a modified model 911. New spy photos show it being tested in frigid conditions. Clever camouflage the car is hard to see, but underneath it the manufacturer hides some design changes.
The car is not completely redesigned, but there is something new design features, which Porsche does not (yet) want to show to the public. They are in front bumper openings equipped with active vertical slats, which we have already seen on other test vehicles. These in open state they provide cooling when they are closed and better aerodynamics. Also headlights they are camouflaged, making their shape – as well as daylight – difficult to see. We suspect it is Porsche made major changes to rear bumper, which cannot be seen. But you can see two round exhaust pipes protruding from the back. The manufacturer also hid bonnet, although the overall design does not deviate far from the current vehicle. 911 has a simple iconic design, which is difficult to change.
