Rumors of Fr. Lexus version of the Toyota model Yaris cross have been circulating for some time, but now it is Lexus LBX also officially here. A small crossover that is placed under the model UX and is the brand's new entry-level model, it is an indirect replacement for the discontinued CT hatchback model. The heart of the model LBX is a hybrid powertrain based on a three-cylinder 1,5-liter gasoline engine. This produces systemic 136 horsepower (100 kW) and a maximum torque of 185 newton meters. That's enough electrified power for acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h 9,2 seconds and a maximum towing capacity of 750 kilograms.

All versions of the new Lexus have front suspension with MacPherson strut, while at the rear they use a torsion beam on front-wheel drive models and a double axle if you opt for all-wheel drive. Technical specifications for the latter have not yet been released, but we do know that it will be rear-mounted electric motor. The LBX is the company's first model Lexus, whose development primarily took place in Evropi.
